A Historic Stay in the Heart of Rakvere At the corner of Tallinna and Lai streets, in a distinguished Art Nouveau–era building constructed in 1903 by local printer and publisher Nikolai Erna, awaits a spacious and cozy guest apartment. Located on the second floor, this ~75 m² apartment with sauna is ideal for a family getaway, a short break with friends, or a romantic weekend. On the ground floor you’ll find the popular Kebaboom – a quick and tasty bite is literally just downstairs. Step inside and you’ll be greeted by high ceilings and airy rooms where the charm of the past meets modern comfort. A total of 4 comfortable beds: 2 × 120 cm wide beds and 2 × 90 cm wide beds – perfect for families or groups of friends. A private sauna to relax in after a day full of adventures. A fully equipped kitchen to prepare your morning coffee or cook dinner. Fast Wi-Fi, fresh bed linen, and soft towels are always ready for your stay. Nikolai Erna (1866–1937) was a key figure in shaping Rakvere’s spirit – a bookseller, printing house owner, and publisher. He had this corner building constructed in 1903; today, it still stands as part of the city’s literary and entrepreneurial heritage. We are located in the very heart of Rakvere’s Old Town: Tallinna Street is the city’s historic main street, while Lai Street runs south from here, connecting you conveniently to cafés, shops, the theatre, Vallimägi, and the medieval castle – all within a pleasant walking distance. And if you get hungry, just head downstairs – Kebaboom is right in the same building at Lai 2.
